Let me put this as concisely as I can: for the mainstream mass media it’s not about reporting the news, its about framing specific events to maximise audience share and profitability.

You shoulda read yesterdays` (Daily) Mail On Sunday (28th June 2009) then….Ian Halperin wrote a bitchen article on Jacko (RIP) that featured an AWFUL lot of things the tabloids will never reveal (such as his alleged homosexuality and alleged late night trysts with homosexual builders in and I quote, “grungy, rat infested hotels). Just as the SUBO affair exposed ITV`s shameless money raking, the whole Jacko affair is an exercise in schizophrenic British journalism. Message? Read the broadsheets if you want to know all the sordid details of Michael Jacksons` last days.
